Trying to fall asleep…

We can’t believe that it’s already been 4 weeks since Bennett was born.  He continues to do what babies do!  Eat, sleep, need to be changed.  Andrew is right next to him for every diaper change, every bath, and would love to go wake him up from every nap.

With Andrew we made sure that he did tummy time a couple of times each day, but with Bennett we haven’t been as diligent.  This afternoon we put him on his stomach and a minute later he flipped right back over to his back.  Showing us that he’s just as capable as his brother was!

This was the only picture of Bennett’s first real bath that didn’t have Andrew’s arm blocking the view!

Last week, we were able to spend a few hours with Amelia.

And last weekend, my parents and grandparents came up for a visit.

Andrew taught Grandpa Frank how to use GloDoodle on the iPad.

the pond in our backyard is filled with ducks, swans, great blue herons, and geese…

While many of these water fowl are beautiful and enjoy the fresh open water. It has been an epic battle to keep the geese off of our yard…

We have tried many tactics…

We are still going through the process of filtering what Andy should and shouldn’t teach Bennett…

We had a bit of a surprise when we were trying to teach Bennett how to talk….

For those who have followed our blog for the past 3 years you know that we used a football to help you see Andrew grow for the first couple years of life….we are going to do the same with Bennett.
